Hi! I’m Erin.

I believe that life is a journey and that we are all deserving of having others come alongside us on the journey. At my core, I believe in lifelong learning and am innately curious. I find myself constantly in awe of all that is within this world. I love engaging with people and the stories they bring.

My own journey towards becoming a licensed mental health therapist began years before pursuing any college degree. Stories, experiences, people, and places each had an impact on me and left me wanting to make a difference. That desire led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

The most impactful learning, however, came from being in the arena. I spent time in the non-profit sector, where I worked with youth who were involved in the justice system and sex trafficking. I then journeyed abroad working within the refugee crisis. After returning, I worked with youth in a recovery-based program and then joined Rethreaded where I developed a program for survivors of sex trafficking. Throughout the years I have been given opportunity to work with women who are incarcerated and to develop specialized trainings for groups and organizations both in the United States and abroad.

When I am not working, I spend my time enjoying the beautiful things of this world. I love local coffee shops, art murals, and parks. I also enjoy being outdoors, whether I am hiking in nature or relaxing at the beach. I have a heart for traveling and discovering all that this world has to reveal. My ideal destination is anywhere warm and tropical where I can scuba-dive.
